An experiment for a simple transistor amplifier, taken from「定本トランシステム回路の設計」and tested with a signal generator and oscilloscope.
I designed this simple low power amplifier circuit after reading the first few chapters of 「定本トランシステム回路の設計」(Transistor Circuit Design) by Masaomi Suzuki (translated ver.). The original schematic can be found on the last page of chapter 3.
Given the following constraints:
- 12V input power
- 5mA through emitter
I soldered it on a template board for amplifiers designed by BH1RBG.
Testing
I have tested this circuit with an HP 3310A Function Generator and an Tektronix 2467B Oscilloscope.
